In the present collection Rubinstein’s works are printed under the editorship of Professor K. Igumnov (first published in 1945-47). The edilor has reproduced the text of the composer’s editions, while correctiug errata, filling up evident lapses (in square brackets), and adding conimentaries regarding the original versions of the works published (in the present coltection these conimentaries are omitted).
